london, day 1
Taking it easy...
Being in London sort of feels like being home again, but Heathrow is always confusing!
I finally managed to find an ATM that would accept my debit card and then got on the train to the city. I found my hostel just fine, St Christopher's Village. The only annoying part was that my room was the highest and furthest away in the hostel. I stayed at this hostel before in Paris and I remembered how much I don't like extremely large hostels, because they can seem a bit impersonal. There were these two young Canadian girls in my room, this was their first trip and having a blast. We chatted a bit about some of the places they were going to next and I gave them some tips. They invited me out for drinks, but I was still recovering from Cancun and decided to go shopping lol. I always do my shopping in London, thanks to Topshop, New look, Next, Bershka, Primark! I got that part of my agenda done and called it a night, tomorrow I would play tourist in London again.
